Congratulations on the formation of MEDASA. It has long been necessary inside of Southern Africa, to form an organisation that has the promotion of Danse Orientale at heart. Portraying the culture of other countries has to be done with sensitivity to their customs and their habits. I feel very strongly that MEDASA can be trusted to keep this in mind.

As Director of the South African Belly Dance Arts Centre as well as representative/agent for The Belyssa Academy of Danse Orientale-from Perth Australia- in Southern Africa, I wish to pledge my support to this organisation. Both the Belyssa Academy and I, feel that a beneficial relationship can result from our support. We would be happy to share knowledge, information and the love of the dance with all at MEDASA.

We wish you well in all endeavours regarding Danse Orientale (known as belly dancing in South Africa) and look forward to workshops, performances and all activities MEDASA will be involving itself with.
